Scales Plus Acquires Assets of Old Will Knott Scales as Competitor Shutters Operations
Allendale, Michigan, 10/10/2024 -- Scales Plus, a leading distributor and service provider in the weighing industry, today announced the acquisition of key assets from Old Will Knott Scales, a long-standing competitor that is ceasing its operations. This asset acquisition is part of Scales Plus’ strategic plan to strengthen its position in the market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2000 and based in Colorado, Old Will Knott Scales served as a trusted distributor of commercial and personal-use scales, providing customers with an expansive catalog of quality products. Over the past 24 years, Old Will Knott Scales provided best-in-class customer service, establishing a reputation among customers and industry peers as a well-respected and trusted brand.
