The Torbal DRX500s is a precision prescription scale specialized for pill counting and pharmaceutical use. Data tracking is possible through the RS-232, USB, and PS/2 options that can be used to connect to a printer, scanner (included), external keyboard, or PC. Computing programs for advanced pill counting accuracy, RX verification, and NDC data entry reminder constantly track data input to make sure the correct prescription is being measured and up to date. Automatic internal calibration via internal calibration weight keeps a consistent weighing standard no matter how many people are operating the instrument. Local air flows are compensated for thanks to the included draft ring surrounding the weighing pan.
