The Rice Lake 482 Plus Legend is a great mid level configurable indicator. The 482 Plus Legend is ideal for many industrial weighing applications from general weighing to simple batching (optional relay card required for batching). The enclosure is constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel and boasts a NEMA 4X/IP66 rating making it a good fit for dirty, wet environments. The bright backlight LCD display is easy to see even in conditions where lighting is poor and a full numeric keypad makes it easy for operators to enter tare values or change menu settings. It comes standard with two independent RS-232 and 20mA serial ports for communication with peripheral devices and there are additional options available to expand the communication capabilities of the indicator. The 482 Plus Legend also has the functionality for local and remote operation when two units are connected together. The Rice Lake 482 Plus Legend is NTEP approved and can be used in Legal for Trade applications.
