OHAUS Defender 5000 scales are available in both standard and washdown options. Washdown models feature full stainless steel construction with sealed load cells, higher IP ratings and stainless steel indicators for use in wet and dirty environments. They are heavily protected from the elements and can be cleaned using pressurized water without causing damage to critical components. Standard models are built for strength and durability with a combination of coated mild-steel, aluminum and an ABS plastic indicator.
All models come standard with RS-232 communication, with expansion options including USB, WiFi, Ethernet, analog output and discrete IO. These robust communication options provide excellent data management and tracking capabilities. A micro SD card provides onboard results memory, with optional Alibi memory available. Defender 5000 offer GLP/GMP compliance with date and time tracking, Along with weighing, every Defender 5000 model includes a versatile selection of weighing modes including parts counting, checkweighing, dynamic/animal weighing, filling, percent weighing and checkcounting.
