New OHAUS MB Moisture Analyzers with Carbon Fiber Heating

OHAUS introduced several new models to their popular MB series of moisture analyzers. These new models feature exciting new technology, enhanced performance and impressive design elements. Carbon Fiber Heating Technology
Carbon fiber heating technology is the most exciting update to the new MB series lineup. It is also an industry first, exclusive to OHAUS moisture analyzers. The heating element is made from carbon fiber strands which translates to more uniform heating, quicker results and improved efficiency. Carbon fiber offers better heat absorption which reduces the overall drying time of samples by up to 20%. This technology is a clear stand-out in the world of moisture analysis and currently is only found in these new models.
Upgraded Loadcell
To further improve the performance of the new OHAUS MB moisture analyzers, an upgraded loadcell was added to provide improved accuracy and consistency. The placement and design of the loadcell housing was also updated to reduce the overall impact of environmental factors such as temperature changes, vibrations and heat from the heating chamber.
Improved Housing Design
The overall aesthetics, durability and functional performance of the housing also received an exciting update. A modern slim design, with improved ergonomics and venting contribute to performance and comfort enhancements for moisture analysis procedures. These housings are made from stronger materials, which results in improved durability and protection of internal components.
Larger displays provide more real-time data and are easy to read. The controls are also simplified with less individual keys and straight-forward operation. Both the MB32 and MB62 models include a dial-knob control which makes menu navigation significantly quicker. The MB92 features a capacitive touch screen, like the MB120, that operates and feels similar to using a smartphone or smart device.
Vents throughout the housing are strategically placed to exhaust chamber heat, while also cooling internal components.
Another added feature unique to the new MB moisture analyzers is the inclusion of status lights. These lights are visible from a distance, quickly indicating if the test is in process or complete.
New OHAUS MB Models
Three new models have been added to the MB series lineup, including the MB32, MB62 and MB92. Each of them include the carbon fiber heating technology, improved housing design and enhanced user interfaces. These are currently an addition to the MB lineup, but will replace the current MB27 and MB90 models by early 2025.
